London-born and now Dubai-based since 2023, DJ Slick has quickly established himself as one of the standout names on the city’s nightlife circuit, bringing more than 15+ years of experience from the UK's club scene to one of the world’s fastest-growing entertainment destinations.
Holding weekly residencies at some of Dubai’s biggest nights and venues, Slick has built a reputation for his versatility, technical ability and instinctive understanding of how to control a dancefloor.
His impact on the city’s nightlife scene instantly earned him consecutive nominations for
'Best Resident DJ' at the prestigious annual Time Out Dubai Awards in both 2023 and 2024.
Before making Dubai home, Slick spent more than a decade establishing himself as one of London’s most in-demand open-format DJs, at his peak performing 250+ bookings a year across clubs, festivals, concerts plus more.
His career has since taken him around the world, touring across Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Career highlights included being selected as an Official DJ for the MOBO Awards for two consecutive years, performing at the world-famous 'Wireless Festival' as well as being chosen as a supporting DJ at concerts & after-parties for international artists including Drake, Rick Ross, J. Cole, Giggs and Big Sean.
Musically, Slick is known for his ability to move effortlessly between genres from Hip Hop to House and everything inbetween, combining creative mixing with an extensive music knowledge that allows him to adapt to virtually any crowd or environment.
His versatility and brand name has also led to collaborations with major international brands including PUMA, JD Sports, Nike and boohooMAN, while his work within the music industry saw him become the Official DJ for international superstar rapper 'Chip' (a.k.a Chipmunk).
Away from the club, Slick has showcased his skills across some of the UK’s leading radio platforms, with guest show appearances and mixes on; BBC Radio 1Xtra, KISS FM, Capital XTRA and Rinse FM.
An entrepreneur as well as a DJ, Slick founded So Slick Parties, an events brand responsible for producing events within the UK with crowds of up to 1,200+ guests. His passion for music and DJ culture has also extended into broadcasting his very own radio show through his 'So Slick Radio' online series and also making regular appearances on leading podcast 'HC Pod'.
From building his name in London to becoming a recognised presence in Dubai, Slick continues to expand his international footprint while staying true to what has defined his career from the beginning: versatility, energy, technical ability and knowing exactly how to move a crowd.
